About The Position
The position involves assisting the Director of Nursing Services in managing the daily functions of nursing activities in accordance with regulations governing long-term care facilities. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining policies, ensuring compliance with procedures, participating in quality assurance programs, and coordinating nursing services with other resident services. The role also involves administrative duties, committee functions, personnel management, nursing care functions, staff development, safety and sanitation, equipment and supply management, care plan and assessment functions, and budget planning.
