About The Position

The Nurse Technician participates in direct patient care and other supportive activities under the direct supervision of licensed nursing staff. Minimum Qualifications: Required Education and Experience: Currently enrolled in an ACEN or CCNE accredited Registered Nurse program with successful completion of at least one full year of clinical nursing. Required License/Certifications/Registrations: Current BLS/CPR card prior to participating in patient care activities. Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Education and Experience: none Preferred License/Certifications/Registrations: none Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Basic computer skills. Multi-tasking and prioritization skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively. Ability to apply the principles of patient care. Willingness to accept instruction, feedback, and constructive criticism. Physical Requirements: With or without accommodation Heavy Work: Occasionally exerting up to 100 lbs - constantly exerting up to 20 lbs. 51-75% of the day may be standing or walking. Requirements

Currently enrolled in an ACEN or CCNE accredited Registered Nurse program with successful completion of at least one full year of clinical nursing.
Current BLS/CPR card prior to participating in patient care activities.
