Schedule: Full-Time Nights | 36 hours per week About Us - Cardiology Unit Located on the second floor at Freeman Hospital West Cardiology is a fast-paced, high-energy, procedurally driven unit caring for patients with cardiac or vascular ailments 45-bed unit focused on “anything and everything HEART!” Bedside care is delivered by a team of high-quality nursing staff consisting of Registered Nurses, New Graduate Nurses, Unit Techs and Unit Secretaries What You’ll Do Under the direction/supervision of a nurse, provides basic nursing care needs for assigned patients. Freeman in Joplin, Missouri, is a 460-bed, three-hospital system providing comprehensive healthcare services to an area that includes more than 450,000 from Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Freeman Health System includes Freeman Hospital West, Freeman Hospital East, Freeman Neosho Hospital and Ozark Center – the area’s largest provider of behavioral health services – as well as two urgent care clinics, dozens of physician clinics and a variety of specialty services.
Requirements
- Active Missouri Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days.
- Must successfully pass Patient Care Orientation (PCO) within 30 days of hire.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training Program (CPI) within 180 days
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training Program (CPI) within 180 days.
- NT Competency Day annually by transcript due date.
