Job Summary: The Nurse Supervisor plays a pivotal leadership role, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care and services to residents within the community. This role oversees nursing team members, coordinates resident care, manages unit operations, and ensures compliance with community policies and state / federal regulations. The Nurse Supervisor promotes the physical, mental, emotional, and personal well being of each resident and strives to maintain residents at the highest level of functioning. This nurse leader is delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability to carry out the key duties and responsibilities – utilizes exceptional customer service and communication skills when interacting with residents, family members, visitors, team members, and other individuals such as medical practitioners and vendors

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Currently licensed as a LPN, and in good standing, with the Virginia State Board of Nursing.
Previous experience (1-3 years) in a nursing capacity is preferred.
Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
