Summary of Position: The Nurse Supervisor oversees clinical operations and provides daily leadership and support to nursing staff within an outpatient allergy and immunology setting. This role ensures high-quality patient care delivery through effective staffing, workflow coordination, and adherence to clinical protocols. The Nurse Supervisor supports training, compliance, and quality improvement efforts while acting as a liaison between nursing, providers, and operational leadership.

Requirements

Current and active RN or LPN/LVN license in state of practice.
3+ years of clinical experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting.
1+ year of leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge of allergy, immunology, or chronic disease management a plus.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support nursing staff, including Medical Assistants and Clinical Nurses, in day-to-day clinical functions.
Monitor and maintain clinical workflows to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Participate in scheduling, staffing decisions, and coordination of coverage to support patient access.
Conduct training and competency checks for new and existing clinical staff.
Serve as the primary clinical escalation point for patient care or workflow concerns.
Ensure adherence to infection control, OSHA, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Support onboarding of clinical team members and contribute to ongoing education and development.
Assist with inventory management, vaccine/biologic storage, and supply ordering as needed.
Collaborate with providers and practice managers to optimize clinic operations.
Participate in performance evaluations and feedback for nursing team members.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and assist in EMR-related process improvement.
