Located in the tranquil surroundings of Spanish Fork, Utah, our campus serves as both a treatment center and a nurturing home for adolescent girls aged 14 to 18 and their families. We specialize in addressing complex issues such as traumatic stress, family dynamics, and mental health nuances, providing comprehensive and compassionate care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; minimum age 21
  • Valid Utah driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Active LPN or RN license in Utah
  • Ability to pass a Utah State background check
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficient in medical terminology, charting, and medication administration
  • Skilled in using standard nursing tools and assessing physical conditions
  • Familiar with word processing software and basic network navigation
  • Willingness to receive professional feedback and pursue ongoing training
  • CAQH profile and NPI number required for credentialing

Responsibilities

  • Team Oversight: Manage hiring, training, evaluation, and discipline of CNAs and Medical Assistants to maintain a skilled and cohesive care team.
  • Parent Communication: Respond promptly and professionally to parent inquiries, ensuring clear and consistent updates.
  • Station Supervision: Maintain cleanliness and safety of the Nurses’ Station to support effective care delivery.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Contribute to weekly Treatment Team meetings with relevant medical updates and insights.
  • Emergency & Health Response: Assess and respond to student illness or pain, determining appropriate care or sick bed placement.
  • Medical Support: Accompany students to appointments and relay findings to parents and the care team.
  • Medication & Narcotics Management: Administer medications accurately, document in MAR, and track narcotics each shift.
  • Vital Monitoring & Behavioral Observation: Record vital signs and monitor student behavior, especially during medication changes.
  • Clinical Procedures: Coordinate lab draws and administer/read TB tests in compliance with health protocols.
  • Medical Communication: Share critical health information with the Psychiatrist and Treatment Team to support integrated care.
