About The Position
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, clinically confident, and ready to make an impact across both patient intake and day-to-day nursing operations. You’ll play a key role in ensuring seamless admissions while also supporting and guiding nursing staff on the floor.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license
- Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Nice To Haves
- Admissions or intake experience in a healthcare setting
- Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience
Responsibilities
- Admissions Coordination Review and evaluate incoming referrals for accuracy and appropriateness
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to determine admission eligibility
- Initiate and process admission orders for accepted residents
- Ensure a smooth, timely transition for all new admissions
- Nurse Supervisor Provide leadership, support, and direction to nursing staff
- Assist with clinical duties as needed
- Mentor and educate team members to support professional growth
- Maintain high standards of care and compliance with policies
- Serve as a clinical resource for decision-making and problem-solving
