Come join our team today; we want to support YOU! Duties and Responsibilities: Develop efficient staffing plans to provide adequate department coverage including mandated breaks, and absences. Reviews employees' work, evaluate performance, and respond to employee problems and complaints. Develop staff through training and orientation in cooperation with the CNO. Plans, develops, coordinates and manages day-to-day functions within the Department of Nursing Services. Please review job description attached for a complete list of duties and responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Broad knowledge of nursing principles and practices
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical regulations and guidelines
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database applications software.
  • Knowledge of supervision and conflict resolution, team-building methods and staff development techniques.
  • Over three (3) years of experience in nursing.
  • Possession of a current Registered Nurse license within the State of Oregon, or ability to acquire by time of appointment.
  • Must possess CPR/BLS and ACLS within one (1) year of hire
  • Must possess NRP, ENCP/PALS, and TNCC within two (2) years of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Possession of ACLS, PALS, NRP and TNCC at time of appointment.
  • Previous nursing experience in a Rural Critical Access Hospital.
  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • National Nursing Certification in area of interest.
