About The Position

Ridgeview Institute Monroe is seeking a motivated, dependable, and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join their team. This full-time position offers a $3,500 sign-on bonus and 100% company-paid medical coverage up to family for full-time positions. The RN Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with established standards, mental health practice, and hospital policy. This role involves contributing to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, and performance improvement efforts, while also providing supervision to assigned staff. The successful candidate will actively engage in the healthcare team, providing direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians, continuously assessing patient conditions, and upholding a safe therapeutic environment. Ridgeview Institute Monroe (RIM) is a leading mental health care hospital in Monroe, GA, providing psychiatric treatment since 2017, with specialized programs for adolescents, adults, older adults, and women. The hospital is committed to evidence-based treatment and community collaboration.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required
  • Able to produce a valid Georgia State RN license
  • A minimum of three years experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility
  • Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications
  • CPR certification
  • Successful completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior, including restraint and seclusion policies, within 90 days of employment and before assisting in restraining procedures
  • Exceptional crisis management and time management skills
  • Flexibility and creativity with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Exhibit a calm, organized, and professional demeanor even in stressful situations

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives
  • Assisting in contributing to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational and Performances Improvement efforts
  • Providing supervision to staff assigned to his/her shift
  • Actively engage in the health care team, offering both direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians
  • Assess the physical and psychological conditions of patients continuously throughout their care journey
  • Utilize the nursing process in alignment with the philosophy, objectives, values, mission, and core principles of SPBH
  • Uphold a safe therapeutic environment grounded in our core values
  • Collaborate as an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, actively contributing to the development, implementation, and documentation of tailored goals and interventions based on patient strengths and psychiatric challenges
