Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, including staffing assignments, scheduling, and coordination of care.
  • Providing clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants, to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Conducting regular rounds to assess resident needs, monitor care delivery, and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
  • Assisting with resident assessments, care planning, and documentation as needed to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
  • Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and educational programs to enhance nursing practice and resident care.
