About The Position
SUBSTITUTE NURSES 2026-2027 School Year The Montgomery County School Board, Virginia, is now accepting applications for substitute School Nurse positions that may be available within our division for the 2026-2027 School Year. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The School Nurse will assist the Lead Nurse in the organization, administration, and implementation of school health services and will function as a contributing member of the school health team.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in Virginia or Current license to practice as a licensed professional nurse in Virginia
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid
- Dependability and punctuality required
Nice To Haves
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- One year of recent nursing experience
- Previous experience in public health or general nursing; preferably in school nursing or community health nursing with children
Responsibilities
