About The Position

SUBSTITUTE NURSES 2025-2026 School Year The Montgomery County School Board, Virginia, is now accepting applications for substitute School Nurse positions that may be available within our division for the 2025-2026 School Year. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The School Nurse will assist the Lead Nurse in the organization, administration, and implementation of school health services and will function as a contributing member of the school health team.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in Virginia or Current license to practice as a licensed professional nurse in Virginia
• Current certification in CPR and First Aid
• Dependability and punctuality required

Nice To Haves

• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• One year of recent nursing experience
• Previous experience in public health or general nursing; preferably in school nursing or community health nursing with children

Responsibilities
