Nurse Staff - Day Shift, Full Time Staffing Pool
About The Position
Utilizing the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) provides and documents professional nursing care to medical/surgical/telemetry/critical care patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH and Nursing Policies and Standard Work. Coordinates and delegates the care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel. Communicates findings as indicated to appropriate person(s). Nurse is required to maintain ACLS, PALS (for ECC), CPI, and NIHHS stroke certification. Performs any other job-related duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Director.
Requirements
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
- ADN degree.
- BLS certified.
- Ability to care for medical/surgical/critical care patients.
- One year of clinical experience required.
- Have or obtain within one year of hire ACLS, PALS (for ECC), and NIHHS stroke certification.
- Have CPI or obtain within three months of hire.
