JOB SUMMARY: The principal objective of the Sr. Supervisor of Nursing is to provide professional nursing care and support and to manage the occupational health programs at a designated facility. This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining Occupational Health Nurse programs policies and procedures for a facility; adhering to nursing procedures within scope of practice; managing comprehensive injury and illness prevention and early intervention program; managing workers compensation cases and ensuring records and reporting systems comply with OSHA State company and legal requirements; attending facility management meetings to provide occupational health related updates; participating in facility safety and ergonomic programs; developing and coordinating health education programs for Team Members; adhering to the highest standard of confidentiality; and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse is required
  • 2 years management experience and knowledge of occupational health nursing or relevant nursing field preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work with an electronic medical documentation system
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and independent decision making and problem-solving skills
