About The Position

Endeavor Health is seeking a Nurse Specialist to join our team at Glenbrook Hospital. This full-time position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The Nurse Specialist will function as a subject expert and/or program coordinator, providing nursing care to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, and adults. The role involves conducting nursing assessments, coordinating patient care plans, providing health education, and collaborating with health team members to ensure effective clinical management of patients as directed by physicians.

Requirements

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of Illinois required.
• BSN required.
• BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required.
• 3 years of nursing experience in a cardiology office or cardiology hospital setting required, preferably expertise in left atrial appendage occlusions.

Responsibilities

• Function as a subject expert and/or program coordinator in providing nursing care to infants, children, adolescents, and/or adults.
• Provide nursing assessment to patient condition and evaluation of follow-up needs.
• Coordination of patient plan of care.
• Provide health education for patient and family.
• Collaborate on planning/problem-solving solutions with health team members.
• Clinical management of patients as directed by the physician.
