Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is seeking a Nurse Scientist. The Health Services Nurse Scientist has specific experience and a skillset that prioritizes measuring the real-world impact of nursing interventions on patient health. The identified candidate will continue to build their program of research and contribute to Center-based initiatives that foster a culture of inquiry. We invite a PhD-prepared nurse, with a minimum of 5 years' experience as a nurse scientist, to apply. The preferred candidate will have post-doctoral training, with an established program of funded research that aligns with CHOP's strategic plan. This position will be Monday-Friday with three days on-site and two days remote. Provides leadership, education, and support in the development, implementation, evaluation, enhancement, and maintenance of a comprehensive pediatric nursing research program which would enhance the outcomes of pediatric nursing care and establish CHOP as a leader in that field. Develops pediatric nursing research goals in collaboration with the Director of Nursing Research & Evidence Based Practice, members of the Department of Nursing and Research Institute, clinical staff, physicians/ members of other health care disciplines, and patients/families.
