About The Position

The Nursing Schedule Coordinator is a key team member that is responsible for the overall assurances of appropriate staffing levels are met at all times. This role requires a supportive presence to create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents and team members. The coordinator must be organized to create staffing schedules that ensure the provision of quality nursing care. Collaboration is essential as the coordinator will work with the Executive Director and the Director of Nursing to advise and communicate staffing schedules and needs, ensuring compliance with appropriate budgetary, State and Federal guidelines. Teamwork is crucial to work towards a common goal of excellent care for our residents. Strong interpersonal communication skills are necessary to ensure quick, equitable, and courteous scheduling patterns and resolutions.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a state approved training program in medication administration.
  • Indiana RN or LPN license.
  • Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage staffing schedules to ensure quality nursing care.
  • Coordinate with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing regarding staffing needs.
  • Ensure compliance with budgetary, State, and Federal guidelines.
  • Foster a supportive and engaging atmosphere for residents and team members.
  • Work collaboratively towards the common goal of excellent resident care.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to resolve scheduling issues.
