About The Position

This Nurse-RN position is responsible for implementing Patient First's policies and procedures, offering quality nursing care, and fostering a warm and friendly atmosphere for patients and employees. The role involves providing nursing care in an ambulatory setting to individual patients and families, using sound judgment in medical care administration and patient screening, and administering medications with knowledge of correct dosage, actions, and side effects. The Nurse-RN will also assist physicians in emergency cases, provide positive customer service, and promote teamwork. Patient First, established in 1981, aims to make quality medical care convenient and cost-effective. The company operates 78 centers in the mid-Atlantic region, open every day, including weekends and holidays, offering primary, urgent, and occupational health services. On-site X-rays, lab tests, and prescription drugs are available.

Requirements

Employee must be at least 18 years of age
High school graduate or equivalent
Keyboarding experience required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Licensed to practice as a Nurse by the state of Pennsylvania

Nice To Haves

One year of clerical experience preferred
One year of clinical experience with administration of medications preferred
At least 1-2 years of experience in a physician's office or hospital setting
