Pediatric Mental Health Nurse in a residential facility: Works with an interdisciplinary team to provide for the mental and physical needs of clients. Meets with clients to identify and assess their developing physical needs, and utilizes the nursing process to respond to identified needs, both proactively and by request Facilitates providers orders: works with external agencies (pharmacies, lab, hospitals) as needed oversees medication administration process, including medication specialists Participates in providing health education to clients and staff through individual/small groups informal communication, in-services and groups on various healthcare topics. Participates in continuous quality improvement initiatives to monitor/ensure quality of care is maintained.

  • Have an unrestricted RN or LPN OR License, or anticipate licensure within the next 6 months
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently and safely
