About The Position

Eddy Village Green at Beverwyck is seeking a compassionate LPN or RN to join their weekend team, working every Saturday and Sunday from 7a-7p. This unique setting follows the Green House® model, featuring two ranch‑style homes, each with 12 residents, for a total of 24 elders. Nurses enjoy a smaller, person-centered care environment. The Green House® Model Community promotes autonomy, dignity, and relationship-based care, with each home including private rooms, private baths, and a family-style kitchen and living/dining area. This model empowers elders to maintain their routines and supports meaningful connections between nurses, C.N.A.s, and residents. Eddy Village Green at Beverwyck is part of a culture-changing approach in long-term care, emphasizing a home-like environment over a traditional facility. Empowered Care Teams work in a collaborative, flattened hierarchy, with C.N.A.s (Shahbazim in Green House language) taking on expanded roles in daily life, and nurses serving as mentors, clinical guides, and partners. This relationship-based care leads to deeper, individualized relationships with residents, supporting emotional well‑being and reducing burnout. Requirements

Current NYS license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Associate degree in Nursing or diploma from an accredited nursing program

Nice To Haves

1 year or more of experience in a skilled nursing setting as a RN or LPN (not required)

Responsibilities

Provide safe, effective nursing care, including medication administration and treatments for up to 24 residents across two Green House homes.
Serve as a clinical coach, supporting and guiding C.N.A. staff (and LPNs, if an RN).
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teammates to ensure a high standard of resident-centered care.
Walk between two side-by-side houses on campus to cover residents within assigned care areas.
Support the Green House philosophy by honoring resident preferences, rhythms, and routines.
