About The Position

The Seabrook is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) dedicated to the enhancement of the quality of life and health of its residents and offering programs that benefit the seniors on Hilton Head Island. We are looking for a dedicated nurse practitioner (RN) who possess the skills and training to understand and properly treat the complex mental and physical needs of the elderly. As a skilled nurse, you would perform a variety of duties to care and comfort for patients requiring medical services. You must utilize specialized skills and judgment when delivering care to patients. You must implement and evaluate patient care while performing nursing procedures to treat and rehabilitate patients. Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of drug interactions, side effects and incompatibilities, decision making skills, proficient assessment skills.
  • Knowledge of DHEC regulations related to a skilled nursing facility.
  • Knowledge of Medicare regulations for admission to a skilled nursing facility.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in rehabilitative and/or gerontological nursing is preferred.
