About The Position

LPNs wanted for small homelike facility - care for same 12 patients every day in a low key environment! Make a difference in the lives of people with intellectual disabilities with a 1:3 staff/resident ratio. Join us and practice holistic nursing with an experienced long-term and dedicated team! We are seeking per diem Nurses for overnight shifts. The shift is from 6pm to 6am with the ability to pick up half shifts as needed. Competitive differentials can bring your base rate up! Dress casual and work in a small home environment to support our 12 clients in having full and complete lives.

Requirements

• Active Maine RN or LPN, in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a resource for other direct service, dietary, and housekeeping staff.
• Meets the nursing care needs of each individual as outlined in the nursing care plan.
• Implements physician's orders, including administration of medication.
• Completes all paperwork as required by applicable regulations, laws, Spurwink policy, and procedure.
• Communicates nursing concerns and issues to the physician, DON, and other direct service staff.
• Knows and implements all individual active treatment programs.
