Position Overview The Nurse Resident in the Intermediate Critical Care Unit (ICC) will provide patient care to complex patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The ICC is a 22-bed unit offering basic hemodynamic monitoring, artificial airway, and ventilator management.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida or a valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) multistate RN license.
Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
ACLS, NRP, PALS, and TNCC certifications may be required based on specific unit needs.
No prior experience required. This position is designed for licensed registered nurses with less than one year of experience.

Responsibilities

Administer patient care for acute injuries, illnesses, medical conditions, or post-intervention in an inpatient/observation setting.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including physicians, social workers, case management, physical and occupational therapists, respiratory therapists, dieticians, spiritual care, and pharmacists.
Complete all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and the unit.
