About The Position
The Nurse Resident administers patient care in an area within a hospital or inpatient/observation setting, where acute care patients receive active treatment for injuries, illnesses, medical conditions, or post intervention with assessment. This position is intended for licensed registered nurses with less than one year of experience. Our Surgical PCU is a 16 bed unit specialized in providing complex patient care for a wide variety of acute postoperative patients who require close monitoring and more frequent interventions. The patient population ranges from patients recovering from surgical procedures, whether neuro, spine, ortho, or other organ systems.
