About The Position

We are currently hiring for a full time Nurse Resident (RN) within the Nursing Administration department here at Aspen Valley Health. Work Shift: Rotating - Other Compensation Range: $35.69 - $57.10 Night and weekend shift differentials up to $10 per hour! The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position. With support of the nurse preceptor and mentor, provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with AVH policies, values, and mission. Works in support of the medical staff treatment plan. Educates patients and family around the plan of care and disease management. Actively supports the nursing philosophy by striving for excellence in patient care, professional development, interpersonal relations, time management, and continuous quality improvement. Requirements

  • Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.
  • Less than one year since graduation from an accredited nursing program in the U.S.
  • Seeking first nursing practice role since graduation

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's (BSN) or Master's (MSN) in Nursing preferred.
  • Experience with EPIC preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
