About The Position

Main Line Health's Nurse Residency Program is a year-long initiative designed to support and guide new graduate nurses as they begin their first professional role. The program emphasizes the development of clinical skills, patient-driven outcomes, and professional growth. The curriculum fosters critical thinking and helps new nurses use data-driven outcomes to enhance patient safety and care quality. As a newly licensed registered nurse in this full-time position, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, competitive pay, and shift differential. The program includes a precepted orientation tailored to the specific clinical specialty and the individual learning needs of each participant. Throughout this transition, ongoing supervision, training, and educational opportunities will be available.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate or soon-to-be graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ASN, or BSN).
  • Graduation must have occurred within the past 12 months or within the next 6 months.
  • Diploma and ASN graduates must be actively enrolled in a BSN program within 6 months of employment start date.
  • Must successfully obtain a BSN within 3 years of employment start date.
  • Preferred cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
