About The Position

Saint Luke's East Hospital is excited to introduce a brand-new Medical Specialty Unit designed to enhance hospital throughput, expand capacity, and elevate the overall patient experience. We are currently seeking compassionate, experienced registered nurses to join this innovative team. This cutting-edge unit features advanced technology in every patient room, including support from a dedicated virtual nurse to assist with monitoring, documentation, and patient education. As part of this multidisciplinary team, you'll be at the forefront of modern, collaborative care. Our Nurse Residency provides a comprehensive orientation and mentorship experience in a supportive clinical environment. You'll work alongside experienced nurses and multidisciplinary teams while gaining specialized skills to care for patients.

Requirements

• Recent graduate of an accredited RN program (ADN or BSN), or within your last semester of Nursing School.
• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS).

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Perform patient care and delegate tasks to other patient care staff.
• Supervise other patient care staff.
• Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients.
• Consult with other members of the health care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.

Benefits

• Up to $12,500 sign-on bonus available for select Med Surg Night Shift positions.
