About The Position

Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking an upcoming graduate nurse to join our Emergency Department- the busiest ED within Saint Luke's. Shift Details: Full Time Night (3 12-hr shifts) Our ED features 32 rooms, including 4 fast-track rooms, allowing our team to provide exceptional, efficient, and compassionate care to a wide variety of patients. You'll gain invaluable experience working with highly skilled nurses, physicians, and support staff in a supportive environment that prioritizes teamwork, growth and clinical experience.

Requirements

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
• Associate Degree

Responsibilities

• Accountable for utilizing the nursing process
• Performs patient care, delegates patient care tasks, and supervises other patient care staff
• Coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients
• Consults with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures
