About The Position

Ventura MedStaff is seeking Nurse Recruiters to join our team! Job Summary: As a Nurse Recruiter with Ventura MedStaff, you will be responsible for prospecting, sourcing, developing, and retaining high-quality nursing and allied health professionals to support staffing needs across our client facilities. This is not limited to making outbound phone calls, sending out communication via texting and email, and the ability to utilize multiple platforms at a given time.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of proven success in a sales, staffing agency, or metrics-driven role that involved consistent outbound calling OR 2+ years of related experience preferred.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Responsible for the recruitment cycle and management of healthcare professional; sourcing, interviewing, reference checks, housing, assignment and travel.
  • Ability to solve problems when issues arise.
  • Have effective communication with internal and external teams.
  • Meet personal and team sales targets.
  • Attend and participate in meetings and events that occur.
  • Be the ambassador of the company, by providing a positive and professional manner to our travelers and clients.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.
  • Oversee the daily workflow and assignments of their traveling employees.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Manage traveling employees time and attendance.
  • Handles discipline and termination, in accordance with company policy.
