About The Position

Requirements

• Valid nursing license in the state of practice.
• Experience in a medical office or Level I Trauma Center is preferred.
• Proficiency in skills such as venipuncture, suture placement, and other procedures.
• Familiarity with assisted living, memory care, and ICU environments is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform venipuncture and manage intravenous (IV) therapy.
• Assist in wound care, including suturing and dressing changes.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Support patients with activities of daily living, including tube feeding and mobility assistance.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in patient education regarding health management and preventive care.
• Ensure a safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
