Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner Certification
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Addiction Medicine and/or family practice medicine

Responsibilities

• Conduct history and physicals
• Review labs and monitor blood levels
• Manage sick calls and prepare discharges including physician orders and scripts if prescriptive authority is granted
• Provide support and resources to the adult residential program and detox as needed
• Coordinate with the primary care physician and psychiatrist when appropriate
• Work with nursing staff to ensure medications are cost-effective for clients after discharge and complete prior authorization requests for medications
• Perform other duties as assigned
