About The Position

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioners to join our team and assist in certifying patients for the Kentucky Medical Cannabis Program. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where you will conduct comprehensive evaluations and support patients in incorporating medical marijuana into their treatment plans.

Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license to practice in Kentucky.
• DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) and Controlled Substance License.
• Medical Cannabis evaluations approval through the KY Board of Nursing.
• Comfortable using technology, specifically our in-house EMR system (training will be provided).

Responsibilities

• Work in-person 1-2 days a week in our Hopkinsville KY clinic.
• Support patients in incorporating medical marijuana into their treatment plans.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients for the medical cannabis program.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date notes and medical records using our electronic medical records (EMR) system.
