POSITION SUMMARY Performs and documents patient physical assessment to identify priority care needs, obtains a detailed medical history, identified patients at physiological and/or physiological risk. Performs procedures necessary to implement plan of care, orders tests and consults as required by plan of care. Accurately documents all patient care activities and evaluates the outcome of patient care. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education Bachelors in Nursing, and Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice or graduate of post masters certificate program for nurse practitioner.
Requirements
- Bachelors in Nursing, and Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice or graduate of post masters certificate program for nurse practitioner
- BLS within 90 days of DOH/Transfer
- Certification for advanced practice
- Licensed or eligible for licensing in state of Alabama
- Registered Nursing License
Nice To Haves
- Preferred one year of medical experience from a similar setting.
- MSN
- 1 to 2 years Healthcare/Hospital experience.
- American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
