About The Position
The Nurse Practitioner will serve as a vital healthcare provider delivering comprehensive family medicine services with a focus on pain management, geriatrics, and pediatrics. This role involves conducting thorough clinical assessments to diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions while prioritizing patient safety and quality care. Requirements
- Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the practicing state or region.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Certification in Family Medicine or relevant specialty.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical assessments and patient management.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Certification or additional training in Pain Management.
- Experience working with geriatric and pediatric patient populations.
- Trauma nursing certification or experience in trauma care settings.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
- Participation in continuous professional development and evidence-based practice initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed clinical assessments and physical examinations for patients across all age groups, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
- Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans focusing on family medicine and pain management.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary to ensure optimal health outcomes and patient safety.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care, especially in trauma cases.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
