About The Position
As a full-time Nurse Practitioner specializing in sleep medicine, you’ll play a vital role in evaluating, diagnosing, and managing sleep disorders. Working closely with physicians, sleep technologists, and a supportive care team, you’ll help patients achieve better sleep and overall well-being.
Requirements
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in MD, VA, and DC.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to patient-first healthcare and teamwork.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in sleep medicine is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical exams.
- Interpret sleep studies, including polysomnography and home sleep apnea tests.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
- Manage medications, educate patients on sleep hygiene, and oversee ongoing care.
- Coordinate follow-up visits, adjust treatments, and ensure thorough documentation.
- Advocate for patients by providing empathetic, high-quality care throughout their treatment journey.
