About The Position

One to One Health is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our clinic team located at Caesars/ Harrahs in New Orleans, Louisiana! At One to One Health, we prioritize personalized, high-quality care that advances the health and well-being of the communities we serve. This role is central to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care as a Provider, working in close collaboration care teams to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of health conditions. You will be responsible for evaluating and treating, managing acute health problems using evidence-based protocols, and creating and implementing appropriate treatment plans under the supervising physician. Requirements

Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.

Ability to hear, see, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, lift, push, and pull.
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Certified Physician Assistant with an active license
1 year experience in family medicine, internal medicine or urgent care setting required.
BLS Certified

Responsibilities

Perform pre-employment and annual wellness physicals
Manage acute and chronic health problems using evidence-based protocols creating and implementing appropriate treatment plans under supervising physician’s protocols
Provide health screenings and other disease prevention programs
Evaluation and treatment of patients for injury and illness
Report and review cases with the medical director and client managers
Oversee respirator and auditory testing for employees by clinic staff
Provide age-appropriate assessments and interventions to meet the needs of teammates.
Uphold high ethical standards and practice within the scope of practice outlined in the written protocol
Provide patient education, health coaching, and patient health advocacy
Order and analyze diagnostic tests
Monitors the effectiveness of interventions
Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals
Enter patient data into the EMR system accurately & promptly
Assist in all areas of the clinic, if needed
Perform related duties as required
