About The Position

We are currently looking for a passionate, patient-centered Nurse Practitioner to join our team at our Landover, MD clinic. What will my role be as a Nurse Practitioner at Kaizo Health? You will act as a key player on the clinical and leadership team and have the overall responsibility of caring for patients in an evidence-informed manner. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to provide proven interventions to improve the patient’s health and wellness and overall quality of life.

Requirements

  • Nationally Certified Nurse Practitioner
  • NP license in the state actively working
  • 3+ years’ experience as an NP preferred
  • Demonstrated experience of administering injections is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and execute new and existing clinical strategies
  • Passion for health and wellness and previous experience practicing in this setting strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to use evidence informed strategies to provide superior clinical care to patients, build our referral base, grow new patients, and maximize brand awareness
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to interact effectively with other members of the team and all levels of management, patients, current and prospective referral sources and the community at large
  • Excellent relationship building skills, time management, critical thinking, and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

  • Living the company’s Vision, Mission, and Values
  • Patient-centered clinical care— patient exams and evaluations, reviewing diagnostic tests, medication administration, evidence-based report of findings, comprehensive treatment plans, patient education, functional medicine, hormone replacement therapy, and trigger point and joint injections
  • Collaboration with other team members on clinical care pathways for patients
  • Gold-standard coding and documentation to ensure compliance with all Federal, state and payer regulations
