Our Encino location is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. The position involves independent daily function along with frequent collaboration with physicians and members of the multidisciplinary team, providing medical care and psychological support to patients and their families. Requirements

  • Active, unencumbered Nurse Practitioner license in California.
  • Experience in IVF/fertility preferred; Women’s Health or OBGYN experience also considered.
  • Experience with ultrasonography and related procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with EMRs and general computer skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Provide initial patient consultations, directing infertility evaluations and implementing treatment protocols.
  • Obtain detailed medical histories, review medical records, and perform appropriate physical examinations.
  • Perform infertility-related services including ultrasonography, routine gynecological exams, endometrial biopsy, and interpretation of laboratory values.
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Learn and perform procedures such as sonohysterograms, office hysteroscopy, and intrauterine insemination (IUI).
  • Prepare and counsel patients, providing informed consent for the full spectrum of ART services.
  • Evaluate and counsel women with reproductive endocrine disorders including PCOS, thyroid dysfunction, endometriosis, and other gynecological conditions; implement appropriate therapy.
  • Assist in early pregnancy surveillance via ultrasonography and laboratory values.
  • Limited supervisory responsibilities for clinical staff, including oversight of personnel scheduling and organizational systems.
  • Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and supervising physicians to ensure quality care and address areas for improvement.
  • Provide patient counseling and education on pertinent health issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.
