About The Position
Provides high quality patient care in their respective specialty to patients. Collaborates and works effectively with other providers and staff to provide effective team-based medical care.
Requirements
- Master's Degree Required
- Graduate Degree to fulfill current regulatory requirements to function as a mid-level provider.
- Residency and/or fellowship training completion is required by specialty or appropriate Mid-Level training.
- New Jersey Medical License; Board Certification or Board Eligibility in the requisite specialty or appropriate mid-level New Jersey state license equivalent. PALS/ACLS/BLS required.
- Strong Medical Knowledge Base in the requisite specialty, interpersonal skills and management ability to provide patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist radiologists in performing and interpreting medical imaging procedures.
- Provide preliminary analysis of imaging results to radiologists.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during radiological examinations.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions.
- Review and document patient medical histories relevant to radiological procedures
- Monitor patients for reactions or complications during imaging of IV Contrast studies
- Assist in interventional radiology procedures
- Educate patients and their families about the imaging process and potential findings
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records within the radiology department
- Stay updated on the latest radiological techniques and practices
