Nurse Practitioner – NYP Brooklyn Medical Group – OB-GYN This is a full time 37.5-hour work week Monday through Friday and one Saturday a month schedule. Must be available for on-call coverage as needed. Travel will be required throughout various locations: 340 4th Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11215 (2 day a week); 50 Court Street (3 day a week) Brooklyn, NY 11201; and in future we will have 38 6th Avenue (1 day a week) Brooklyn, NY 11217. Requirements
- BSN
- Master’s Degree in specialty of practice or completed alternative certification requirements for graduates of nurse practitioner programs prior to April 1,1989
- Current NYS RN license
- Current NYS Nurse Practitioner license
- Basic Life Support Certification for all Nurse Practitioners who provide direct patient care
Nice To Haves
- National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Women’s Health or Family Practice
- 1-2 years GYN experience
