About The Position

Skin and Aesthetics Center is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive dermatologic care to patients across our network of partner practice locations. As part of our healthcare management services organization, this role offers the opportunity to work in both general dermatology and cosmetic procedures in a collaborative, physician-supervised environment. The ideal candidate is a licensed NP with dermatology experience who is passionate about skin health and committed to delivering exceptional patient care. You'll work autonomously while collaborating with our team of dermatologists and support staff.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Current state Nurse Practitioner license: New Jersey
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (Family, Adult, or Women's Health)
  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience (dermatology preferred)
  • Reliable transportation required for travel between designated practice locations
  • Advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Proficiency in dermatologic procedures and cosmetic treatments
  • Strong patient communication and education abilities
  • Knowledge of dermatology pharmacology and treatment protocols
  • Experience with EHR systems and clinical documentation
  • Professional collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Manual dexterity for clinical procedures and computer use
  • Visual acuity for detailed clinical work and documentation
  • Reliable transportation for travel between assigned practice locations
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally

Nice To Haves

  • Dermatology or aesthetic experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with cosmetic procedures (Botox, fillers, laser treatments)
  • Board certification in dermatology nursing
  • Bilingual capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive dermatologic examinations and skin cancer screenings
  • Diagnose and treat common dermatologic conditions (acne, eczema, psoriasis, etc.)
  • Perform minor surgical procedures including biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy
  • Provide cosmetic treatments such as injectables, chemical peels, and laser procedures
  • Develop treatment plans and educate patients on skin health and preventive care
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians on complex cases
  • Travel between assigned practice locations within designated service areas
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
