The Nurse Practitioner provides direct client care, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, and prescribing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment of health problems, health promotion and preventive care within this specialized area of practice. In addition to direct practice, the sub-roles of the Nurse Practitioner role include education, research, and consultation. The Nurse Practitioner is involved in practice activities with the goal of improving the quality of care in both the outpatient and inpatient setting. Day shifts with weekend rotation. SUD or Child adolescent experience preferred.
