Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a specialization in cardiovascular care.
- Current unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of [insert state].

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with cardiovascular complaints, including obtaining medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests.
- Interpret diagnostic test results, such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, and cardiac stress tests, to diagnose cardiovascular conditions accurately.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for patients with various cardiovascular conditions, including hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
- Prescribe medications, perform therapeutic procedures (e.g., venous access device insertion, cardiac device interrogation), and provide patient education on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
- Monitor patients' progress, assess treatment efficacy, and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families regarding cardiovascular disease prevention, management, and rehabilitation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documentation, and billing information in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and professional development activities to enhance clinical practice and promote excellence in cardiovascular care.
- Adhere to professional standards of practice, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements governing nurse practitioner practice.
