About The Position
The Nurse Practitioner Clinic examines and treats patients independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals following established standards and practices. The role ensures proper illness and injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. The individual relies on education, experience, professional training, and judgment to accomplish responsibilities, and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The Nurse Practitioner works under minimal supervision under the direction of the collaborating physician, as appropriate, and may lead and direct the work of others within their scope of practice.
