About The Position

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) plays a critical role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services across diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and adults. Requirements

  • Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the United States.
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or equivalent specialty certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in family medicine or a related healthcare setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pain management and trauma care.
  • Additional certification in geriatrics or pediatrics.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
  • Strong background in patient safety and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and physical examinations for patients of geriatric populations.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, with a focus on family medicine and pain management strategies.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, including prescribing medications and therapies as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Provide patient education on disease prevention, health promotion, and trauma recovery to support informed decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
