About The Position
Acute Care Certified Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and physical exams Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions (e.g., CHF, hypertension, arrhythmias, CAD) Order and interpret diagnostic tests including EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and lab work Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, medications, lifestyle changes, and procedures Provide post-procedure and ongoing outpatient follow-up care Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in the EMR system Participate in quality improvement and clinical care initiatives
