Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctorate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Board Certified NP or PA; eligible for Maryland licensure.
  • Candidates from Family Medicine or related backgrounds with strong interest in neurology will be considered.
  • Spanish-speaking required
  • Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent communication skills in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide neurological care in both outpatient clinics and hospital settings.
  • Conduct patient evaluations, follow-ups, and consultations for a range of neurological conditions.
  • Collaborate with neurologists, hospital staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
  • Assist in the management of acute and chronic neurological disorders.
  • Participate in hospital rounding and shared call coverage.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
  • Support patient education and care continuity across settings.
