About The Position

Description The Nurse Practitioner will see established patients in the clinic setting and provide direct patient care. This position requires patience, empathy, time management, and professionalism with patients, co-workers, and providers. A clinical background in general medical practice

Requirements

DEA License
Current Alabama license in good standing
Effective communication skills
Positive, patient focused attitude
Ability to manage change
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time without resting

Responsibilities

Utilize advanced scientific knowledge and skills to assess, plan, and implement appropriate health care to patients
Will be responsible for ordering labs, imaging, procedures, therapy, and durable medical equipment as needed
Will be responsible for medication management
Review patient records and provide appropriate information to providers
Efficiently document patient information in the electronic medical records system
Respond to patient messages sent through our healthcare portal in a timely manner
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
