Mass General Brigham relies on a wide range of professionals, including doctors, nurses, business people, tech experts, researchers, and systems analysts to advance our mission. As a not-for-profit, we support patient care, research, teaching, and community service, striving to provide exceptional care. We believe that high-performing teams drive groundbreaking medical discoveries and invite all applicants to join us and experience what it means to be part of Mass General Brigham. This is a 30-hour-per-week (M-F) Primary Care Nurse Practitioner position consisting of six clinical sessions and one administrative session, with the option to complete the administrative session remotely. A clinic session is scheduled as a "half-day," where a half day refers to a 4-hour block. For example, if the morning clinic session is from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, that constitutes one half-day (4 hours). Alternatively, an afternoon session might run from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Internal Medicine Associates (IMA) is the largest Mass General teaching practice located at the main campus in Boston. IMA provides convenient access to all the hospital's resources, including a complete range of diagnostic services within the building including laboratories for specimen collection and EKG's, imaging services, physical therapy and social services. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a licensed provider. The NP is responsible for the assessment and management of various populations of patients, medical and/or surgical, including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, development of appropriate plans of care and ongoing evaluation. May also perform additional duties, such as precepting a small group of learners.
