About The Position
TK Health Clinics is seeking a Medical Provider (Nurse Practitioner) to join our clinical team supporting Sevier County Jail and Jefferson County Jail in Tennessee. This part-time, on-site role offers the opportunity to deliver meaningful patient care in a structured, secure correctional healthcare environment. As a Nurse Practitioner with TK Health Clinics, you will practice at the top of your license while gaining broad clinical experience across acute, chronic, and preventive care. Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Tennessee
- Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Ability to work independently in a secure, structured environment
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Provide primary and urgent medical care to incarcerated patients
- Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans as appropriate
- Collaborate with nursing staff, custody staff, and healthcare leadership
- Participate in on-call coverage as required
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Adhere to all facility policies and state/federal healthcare regulations
